Capturing Positive Change: What is the Output Aim?

Description

In this presentation, Greta McLachlan outlines the goals of a community-driven project aimed at collecting and promoting ideas for improvement within the NHS. She describes four main output aims, starting with gathering insights from across the community, especially regarding changes observed during COVID-19, while ensuring a diverse representation beyond London. Over 180 ideas were submitted, which she emphasizes will be evaluated based on feasibility and impact.

The second aim focuses on creating a long list of promising ideas to be shared with NHS stakeholders for potential implementation. McLachlan highlights the importance of disseminating these ideas effectively through various channels, including academic publications and community storytelling, to foster a wide-reaching impact.

She also addresses the challenge of championing certain ideas to secure support from NHS England and to embed them into future practices, showcasing the necessity of community involvement in this process. McLachlan concludes her segment by expressing gratitude and inviting the next speaker.
