Professor Kearney is Associate Director of Warwick Clinical Trials Unit and has held a joint appointment between University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire and Warwick Medical School since 2007.
Her focus is leading the delivery of research programmes that evaluate the clinical and cost effectiveness of interventions in the area of trauma and orthopaedic rehabilitation.Professor Kearney has completed an Arthritis Research UK Fellowship (2009-2012), NIHR Clinical Lectureship (2013-2016) and is currently undertaking an NIHR Career Development Fellowship (2017-2022). She is currently Chief Investigator for a series of multi centre randomised controlled trials underpinned by NIHR and musculoskeletal charity funding.
